But it most definitely is.įor reference, the website to Qustodio is here: I can only imagine why Qustodio is blocking that service. But if you can't connect, it may be because you have Qustodio installed. all of my purchased DLC content was blocked an unavailable to me! I was equally unable to connect to the Dragon Age Servers for Dragon Age: Origins or Dragon Age 2. I can only surmise that Qustodio was blocking the game for it. This same phenomena of an instant-unavailable message was occuring for Mass Effect 3 prior to me resetting the PCs OS back to factory. Thinking I was crazy I did the same process to a second PC. When I uninstalled Qustodio, it instantly begins to work again. Of note here, is that the "connecting to server." message never happens instead it instantly gives me an unavailable message. Dragon Age Server connection is instantly denied and says it is unavailable. Then on one of them I installed Qustodio. All three connected to the DAI servers just fine. But the mere existence of the software blocked Dragon Age Server connections for myself, even though my profile was not being monitored or limited.īefore I discovered this interaction, I had reset my 3 Window 10 PCs back to default OS, and installed just Dragon Age Inquisition. I had this software installed for my children to minimize the time they spend on the computer. If you don't know, Qustodio is monitoring software that you can use to limit time, applications, etc for children. ![]() ![]() But bottom line, I've been able to verify that having Qustodio installed on a Windows 10 PC blocks Dragon Age games (and Mass Effect) from connecting to their servers.
